Abstract

Universities as service providers in higher education are very dependent on human capital as an intangible asset attached to human resources (HR). Human resources in higher education are required to have knowledge and skills as well as the ability to create knowledge assets, for this reason universities need to manage their knowledge and intellectual property and encourage individuals in it to share knowledge (knowledge sharing) in order to develop competence and expand knowledge. This study aims to determine the factors that most determine the behavior of knowledge sharing on lecturers at STIE Pembangunan Tanjungpinang. The population in the study was 75 lecturers who teach courses in the even semester of the even semester of 2020-2021. The sample is 67 people using purposive sampling with the criteria of respondents having more than one year of service. Data analysis was performed using Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the factor that most influenced lecturers to behave in knowledge sharing was the ability to share.
